March 6 - 2-Day Photography Workshop - Fossil Rim is offering a 2-day photography workshop on Saturday March 6th and Sunday March 7th. The workshop will consist of the following: 3 to 4 hour classroom session which will cover different aspects of wildlife photography taught by instructors Brian and Shirley Loflin; a tour conducted during dusk for the best light possible; dinner at Safari Camp; evaluation of the day’s photos by the instructor; an overnight stay in a safari style cabin; breakfast at Safari Camp; a tour conducted during dawn for the best light possible; sack lunch; dismissal. The tours will go through Fossil Rim’s 1700 acre pastures. There are 59 species of animals here at Fossil Rim. Some of the animals that you may photograph are white rhinoceros, blackbuck, European red deer, gemsbok, zebras, addax, waterbuck, giraffe, sable, aoudad and greater kudu. lease contact our reservation office at 254-897-2960 to save your spot.
